Metener Ltd is a company originally founded by Finnish biogas pioneer, Erkki Kalmari. Erkki , a technician and dairy farmer, constructed a biogas plant on his farm during the late 1990s. Metener has gone on to serve both domestic and international customers in four different continents. Today, Metener continues to expand and grow as a leading player in the biogas industry, providing practical, quality products from the start of the production process straight through to distribution & usage.

Our company’s strength comes from its people. Our core competencies are derived from a combination of specializations in biotechnology, technological know how, and project management. We consistently put developmental efforts into our research and co-operation with universities and laboratories. Metener has delivered demonstration environments of circular economy by-matter streams and upgrading solutions for universities.
